Bevel/Gear for Steelmaking and Steel Processing Equipment

We are utilizing it in coke oven extruders and for vehicle drive wheels, among others. *Q&A materials will be provided.

Our "Straight Bevel" products, handled by our company, feature excellent tooth engagement due to the Gleason cutting method, and they can also be subjected to crowning processing. By applying crowning, it is possible to guide the tooth engagement position during no-load conditions to an ideal location. When a load is applied, the tooth engagement can be achieved near the center of the tooth width, which prevents cross engagement and reduces noise. Our bevels, which can be processed up to M24, are well-suited for powerful machinery. Additionally, "Straight Gears and Helical Gears" are basic products manufactured by Koga Gear Works and are used in automated warehouses and logistics equipment. Feel free to entrust us with custom orders for shapes not listed in the standard catalog! 【Features of Bevels】 ■ Gleason tooth profile ■ Crowning compatible ■ Tooth engagement inspection compatible 【Features of Gears】 ■ Compatible with module 22 and up to φ2000 ■ Crowning compatible ■ One-stop service from material procurement to completion *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Noise Solution through Bevel Gear Engagement Testing and Tooth Contact Adjustment

Conducted tooth contact tests and measured engagement transmission errors within the lot! A case where noise issues were resolved.

We received a consultation from a customer regarding a change in the noise of the bevel gears within a lot, but they were unable to identify the cause. At OJIC, we conducted an investigation into the cause by providing bevel gears and performing engagement tests and measurement of engagement transmission errors. As a result of the measurement tests, it was determined that there were areas with poor tooth contact. Therefore, we modified the assembly distance and performed adjustment work on the bevel gears to ensure appropriate tooth contact and engagement transmission errors. As a result, the change in noise of the bevel gears within the lot has been eliminated. [Case Summary] ■ Issue: Change in noise of bevel gears within a lot, cause unknown ■ Proposal: Adjust bevel gears to achieve appropriate tooth contact and engagement transmission errors ■ Result: Change in noise of bevel gears within the lot has been eliminated *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
